Lives and works in London, UK

I am an interdisciplinary artist whose practice incorporates painting, drawing, sculpture, installation and performative aspects as psychological/philosophical research.

I investigate the link between art and light as unveiling the world around us and as transformative, and through this I explore the interrelations between metaphysics, life, psychology and art. My process focuses practical investigations and experimentation with personal and emotional introspection. For me making art is a therapeutic tool for self-realization, an act of unveiling and an attempt at reuniting different parts as one whole.

Working with the human form and portraiture through material and spatial experimentation, I look at how we perceive our selves, others and the world around us. I explore the relationships of dualities such as permanence and transience, animate and inanimate, mental and physical, visible and invisible, unconscious and conscious, strength and vulnerability, entrapment and release, fragmentation and reparation.

Incorporating interactive and experiential aspects, I invite the viewer to activate and participate in the artworks, with the aim that they will act as vessels for communication and exchange through the experience of them.
