Lives and works in London, UK

I am a multidisciplinary artist whose practice incorporates painting, sculpture, installation and performative aspects. For me making art is an act of discovery and an attempt at reuniting different perspectives into one whole.

Using contrasts of colour, weight and depth, I celebrate the individual qualities of materials and speak symbolically of how different parts relate to one another. In a pursuit of harmony I explore the relationships of dualities and contrasts such as the subjective and objective, permanence and transience, visible and invisible, unconscious and conscious.

My interests in psychoanalysis and philosophy infiltrate my work. Working predominantly with the human form and portraiture through painterly, material and spatial experimentation, I look at how we perceive our selves, others and the world around us. Recently I have been investigating the link between art and light as an unveiling and transformative metaphor. Through this I explore the interrelations between metaphysics, life and art

Often incorporating performative or experiential aspects, I invite the viewer to activate the artworks, with the aim that they will act as vessels for communication and exchange through the experience of them.
